The Weeds that mingle among the Wheat

Matthew 13:29 speaks of them. They are the weeds that mingle among the wheat.  The seeds of the enemy of Christ that mingle among the seeds of God.  Call it what you will, yin and yang, up and down, positive and negative, day and night, male and female…not that females are evil or dark. Women are God’s greatest gift to man and God’s most splendid creation ever made.  But you get the point. There are opposites to everything, including those who will oppose always the ones who follow Christ.  And the problem is…they can be your neighbor, your brother, your sister, your mother or father or your own kids or your own aunt or uncle or your own teacher or professor or your grandmother or grandfather.  Honestly…unless you know what to look for as a follower of Christ, you will not notice them.

They are what they speak. They are what they wear.  They are what they do.  They are how they believe.  IT is really quiet simple.  Their appearance is sometimes a link but not always.  Usually you will find that the weeds spoken of in Matthew have a fascination for gore, for violence, for loud music, for being loud, they curse, they are more than likely addicted to some drug and they like darkness or dim lights but not always.  If you see them EVER pick up a bible and open it, it is to rag on it or tell you how it contradicts itself. They will never pray at a meal or speak to you good things of Christ but will not hesitate to try to judge Him or say nobody has proof.

They may say, “Well, Jesus may have died for you but he didn’t need to die for me.” Or…”Jesus was just another man in a robe to me that taught people about religion.”  These are the types of comments you may get from them. When you cross their beliefs, they will most likely get angry or upset.

But those are the more obvious weeds. The more dangerous ones are the ones that are wolves in sheep’s clothing and who literally mingle among the flock. The ones in your church who dress as you do and who smile as you do and who carry a bible as you do and who read it as you do. Those are the weeds you will never notice unless you watch and read them carefully.  In time, you can figure it out. They are the false teachers and those who lead the young and naive and they are the leaders of cults and those who force kids to marry adults and the like. They know the bible front and back and can tell you which passages contradict themselves like the back of their hand. They know it so well because they’ve done it many times before with other Christians. They love black ( ALL BLACK CLOTHING and also hair and makeup or nails…most of the time they wear )and wear it often. But…these are the obvious weeds. The not so obvious will blend in among the believers. Most of the obvious ones will not worry about cursing God’s name or cursing you. They could be your best friend or your co-worker or your boss or anyone you know.

They will argue with you about your belief that Christ is Messiah and they will not worry about laughing at you or on what you speak about concerning Christ. They will never give up on telling you He didn’t die for them. I’ve spent four to five hours arguing with atheists before that I knew as friends and eventually no-longer associated. Birds of a feather flock together. And you become who you associate with. So, Christians or believers are told to have nothing to do with them. To not be among them. They are those who will appear to be your best of buddy and yet, inside…they’re mission is to corrupt you, lead you into doing what they do and lead you into becoming what they are.  They enjoy pain or receiving pain. They may be into cutting themselves or blood sucking. They may have a love for vampirism or snakes or wolves and even owls or other occult related images or animals.

They will be the ones leading you to smoke, to drink, to do drugs and to steal or lie or to even not care anymore about your family. To put them last on your list. They will want your time all the time with them. They will continue until they achieve their objective. And they will anger when you back away from being with them because they will feel they are losing you to their side.

Then they will turn on you and hate you. They will then speak ill about you to others and will continue to make you look like the fool by not having them as a friend anymore. In most cases, not all. The maturity of the weed depends a lot. They know who they are and the worst weeds are those who KNOW they are different than you and who love to argue with you about your desire to follow Christ. Many are emotional vampires and drain you emotionally and drain your energy and can quickly make your day miserable.  To them, it doesn’t matter.  They will do this the next day too and the next until you figure them out and have nothing to do with them.

They are in reality controlled and directed in thought and action not by their own mind but by a spiritual force of which, they do not understand nor have control over. It has control of them. Their life is owned by that dark force and they are through thoughts…given specifics to perform to make sure that YOU stay off the path you are meant to be on. It goes deeper than this.

They may have a strong fascination of weapons and hitting or causing others emotional anguish. They are destructive to objects and or clothing or your personal items.  They will many times suddenly go off on you with anger outbursts.  Their life is about them and about SELF and their life resolves around SELF.

Let’s say you are a Christian and you are going to a movie and your girlfriend is a Christian and you are going to pick her up to take her to a bible study. Well, guess what. The other side knows this and will counter it. And he will use HIS people of HIS control to stop it from happening. You don’t know it yet but another guy who is one of which I just mentioned, is now getting thoughts to go talk to her and to lead her in another direction.

This boy doesn’t realize what is going on and WHY he got those thoughts to go see her, he just does it. And when there, he doesn’t know why he’s asking her to go with him in HIS car to some party or to another friends house. You don’t know what’s happening and she doesn’t know what’s happening yet and the boy doesn’t either. Who does then? God and his enemy who knows by his own forces at work.

Now, the mom steps in and she’s Christian and she stops her daughter and tells her, no, don’t go with this other guy, go on with Mark to your study. She says…but mom, Bobby is so much hotter. Which, he might be. But Mark is the one who is out for her best interest. And Bobby is out to lead her into spiritual corruption. Susie doesn’t know what is really going on deeper and within the unseen. But this is going on daily and millions of times a day to people and they don’t even realize it. One side is working to lead you away while the other side is working to lead you back. And it’s a constant battle of good vs evil in the unseen world. The father may now step in and he is not a Christian and he will argue with the mother that it’s ok for her to go with Bobby so once again, another battle and it continues for days, for weeks, for months and maybe years who susie or whoever should be seeing. Her path is her choice and who she chooses to take sides with. She CAN choose. She KNOWS who is good and who is not.

For those whom have been to the other side, and have seen these forces…as I have, you’ll know exactly what I am talking about. They are there and they ARE unseen and they ARE working to fight for your soul. From both sides.

Hey, those who hate God or hate Christ or the scriptures may not show it out right and may actually be pretty cool about even at times…taking sides with you. But you will never see them praying. You will never see them alone with a bible. You more than likely won’t see a bible in their house but you will see other things. We’ll get into that later with idols and images all around us.
They are what they chose to be. 

This is not a judgemental, pointing fingers at him or her thing. This is a “They know who they are and not ashamed of it” deal.

When you speak to them of Christ or what Christ did…they will tend to get defensive, angry and even hostile.  In some rare cases, violent even and throw stuff and yell.  Why so upset? Because they know who He is and they know they don’t follow Him and they know others do.  And yet, nothing they have said or done over the centuries has prevented Christ from still being known and worshipped as Messiah or Lord…has it? Nope. And it will never change and why?

Because He is. And no words or anger or tempers or violence or arguments or debates will ever stop the fact that Christ died for everyone’s sins and those that don’t want to accept that belief…will still continue to just get angry about it and those that do…will still continue to defend it.

Why do people go through such GREAT lengths to defend a man who lived so simple 2000 years ago? If unless he truly was the Messiah as He said He was?  Not just a few, billions of people over the twenty centuries of many continents of 2000 plus years whom have believed in Him and gave up a lot for that belief. 

And yet, still…those who keep hating him, can’t seem to realize that the more they slander and mock and laugh and curse those who follow Him…that it doesn’t change a single thing except one thing…

Oh, and what’s that one thing that their upset and anger changes?

That they will only get what they ask for more than likely in the end, after they pass on from this life to the next…they never wanted Christ…so, I would bet that He will let them have what they never wanted. And if He is the light of the world…what happens without Him? No light. So, if they are someone who likes eternal darkness…and they can accept that and think that that will be a laughing matter and something to joke about in the end…then they are only damning more their OWN SOULS the more they speak against Him.  Christ is totally UNeffected by their words or their actions or their mocking or laughter or slander or cursing.  No, I am sure He is just looking down and shaking his head and thinking…when are they ever going to learn.  I am not going away and only a fool does not fear the Lord…as that is what the Bible says.

So, weeds mingle among the wheat but nothing the weeds will do or say can ever change anything. They can have their drugs, they can continue to shout and curse and slander others and they can continue to watch their gore movies and have their love of blood and violence and be scared watching their horror movies or laugh at people getting killed in the movies. They can continue to paint their faces white with their black eyeliners and black hair and wear their piercings and continue to go to their black sabbath concerts and drink until wasted. They can do all they do as weeds but they can’t change the wheat and while their mission is to corrupt the youth of today to lead them to do as they do…to be as they are…they may have their hay day in the end but after that, it will all end and it will end forever for each of them whom has hated the Lord. Jesus Christ who died for the sins of the world and who is given power to judge all souls that ever lived and who 2000 years later….millions still bow down to and call Lord and Savior and Messiah.

Shame that some will never get that He is willing to accept them…if they are willing to change their ways to accept Him. But they are seeds of their own father and unwilling to change.  Or most of them.

If you are a wheat, beware of the weeds, they mingle among you.  And you won’t know who they are but you will know them by their words, their actions and what they wear and what they do and how they speak about your Lord.

You can believe me or not…but it’s up to you. All have free will to pick and choose and all know who they are and on which side they are on.  That is not me judging them…that is them knowing what they are. Nobody has to point any fingers for each to know what they are. Huh?

Their fascination is darkness and flames and rock n roll and death images or symbols. Don’t be one of them.
