How Numbers Are Used In Scripture

First, we should not put too much emphasis on numbers even in the bible. We can only take notice on their use and let God guide us to understanding the rest. To place too much emphasis on numbers, even within scriptures is to turn from our true source of Truth. Jesus Christ.

The bible code is one such warning of using numbers to try to predict events and using the bible to do so. Using computer code or programs to decipher the scriptures with some hidden or secret code could be a dangerous avenue. Don’t play into it…even if it DOES seem to give truths. Keep in mind that the enemy LOVES to mix truths with lies AND he usually makes it 99% truth and 1% lie. But by making you SO CONVINCED of the 99%, he can also get you to follow the 1% lie too. Weigh everything you hear, see or of what others show you, especially from TV, Movies or magazines.

As for one…a mysterious number that I see come up frequently in the news is…

Nine is a number that is infinite and multiplies upon itself.  It is a number that biblically represents death and judgement but also other research has led me to find it to be of divine completeness. 

It also for the first reason is connected to Egypt, the occult and many people passing. It has been related the most with dates of wars, dates of end of wars, days of court dates, months of which wars began and ironically most common in sightings of ufos. Nine ufos are flown after by fighter jets. Commercial airline pilots report of seeing nine strange craft. People in small town see lights that seem to form nine different formations. Sightings such as this is common within ufology. And what is ufology related to? fallen angels. No, not aliens. This is the lie. They are NOT aliens. They ARE angelic forces and are commonly related to the occult societies, occult or pagan civilizations or even related to people who are well known to be OF the occult.

When I was myself involved in the occult arts…before I realized the dangers of my association to the occult arts…I had myself ufo/et dreams. The same dream any abductee might explain having. However, in my experience…I woke up IN the dream and saw a future of events that would over the years appear to me to piece by piece fit together and come into existence! Strangest thing. See dreams and visions section for that part. Here, let’s talk more about the 9 and how it IS connected to the occult or demonic or dark side.

Christ, it is said died on the nineth hour and was beat with a cat tail of nine.  The war against saddam began on the 9th day and ended on the 9th and most common, you will find the number of people who are killed in crashes or explos*ons will be NINE! Stange…but TRUE for the most part.

There are nine gates of the underworld with nine demons guarding those gates that the Pharoah had to conquer when passing through the underworld.  Ultimate path? RA. According to Egyptology…he is lord of the dead or of the underworld.

There are in the occult arts, nine arts, nine levels, nine mudra, nine finger grid slashing for channeling the spirit world of which is taught by the shamans.  And there is also a book written about the deception and meaning of the nine called ( The stargate conspiracy – reading this one and you’ll read a LOT about THE NINE who in their book….are more less, a force of entities. ). But I’m personally not into the sci-fi stuff. I just read it because I kept finding this nine showing up in accidents, wars and bad things happening and didn’t pick it up because of my knowing it spoke about the nine but rather, I picked it up because of dreams I had about a false star gate of the future that in my dream was a deception. And I wanted to find out if there was any meaning to it. I had a dream also in this of a false egyptian like black and bald messanger and that’s the only reason why I got that book and read it.

Something about the world in turmoil and man’s technology to save people and those who put their faith in man’s technology or whatever technology that it was to save them from dying…were not saved at all. Quite the contrare as my dream showed me. They were entering into a stargate to hell. Ironic how SG-1 Stargate “Atlantis” ( a so called mythical occult city of the past that had advanced technology and it was destroyed ), is one of the biggest sci-fi and longest running sci-fi hits on tv. huh? This dream came before that show. But is someone trying to lead people to believe in something to be possible that today would seem only sci-fi?  Just have an open mind and never trust man’s techology over your faith.

Man can’t save us off this planet if it EVER DOES begin to collapse. You can go but I will stay and I trust in God, not man and if God wants ME off this planet, he’ll take me off Himself if the Earth is really collapsing. Which, according to Revelations…it will pretty much collapse completely before being RENEWED.

As the bible teaches these types of words to us…

those who seek to save their life shall lose it and those who are willing to give their life shall save it.

The number nine often seems to show up during bad times.  We have 9/11 as well as the number 11 and although I am not a follower of numerology, numbers seem to have a direct connection with the outcome of events, with certain actions, with people and with dangers, warnings and deaths or lives.

In the bible, numbers were significant really as Christ often repeated his words in threes.  The seven is known to be a spiritual number related to God and in Greek 777 = Cross and 888 = Jesus with the six is known to be man’s number and also related to the mark of the beast.  Turn the 6 upside down and you have 9. or 666 becomes 999. make a circle of the three and you have a what? A vaccination mark. Not sure if that WILL ever have any play in the future whenever the MARK does take effect. There have been MANY speculations to WHAT the mark really is. Some have said a cross, some have said a global ID card called the mark and others have said a chip implant. Yet others…have even said it’s actually IN the forehead and the right hand represents the works of evil. So, take your pick. Either way…it HAS TO BE something that not only identifies you…but ALSO…something that you must have to buy or sell with.

When I asked a person once who had studied the bible all their life about the 9, she said it was a higher number and that it was not bad.  But I said, “there seems to be some sort of connection with the number and death and or judgement.” She said, all numbers are God’s numbers but the enemy does steal and use certain numbers to relate to them. And since 9 is an infinite number and God is infinite, who else wants to be infinite as God? His enemy. So, she said, “The enemy has stolen this number to use to label himself as infinite but in truth, it is not apart of him.”

And strangely enough, through my research, a lot of occult practices relate to this number.  And strangely you will see what I mean about how in accidents and wrecks…that those who pass on in such…amount to 9 or live at an address related to = 9 or it is the 9th day or they pass on in the 9th hour.

Keep your eye out and you will see how this number, more than any is related to such incidents as well as wars and the fall or judgement of certain situations.  Hence again, 9/11.

Often, in the past…Popes died or were killed on the 9th hour or ninth day or ninth month. And I will have a lot more on this in due time.  Right now, this is all.  But nothing is coincidence.  And if you chart the news with numbers of those who pass on and compare, you will see a common occurance with the 9 being related to negative situations or events or accidents or crashes. 

Try it. And while you do…keep in mind that…2009 is coming up.

However, here are some other meanings I have found for numbers in scripture. Numerology is different since numerology is using numbers to predict future events of which is divination. There is a difference in simply looking at the reason of numbers in scripture and actually trying to use numbers and calculations to try to come up with future events. That is the same as astrology and terot of which are of the occult. Here, we are simply looking at the BIBLICAL use or commonality of use of numbers within scripture. And if they were of importance to God in scriptures, then there is no harm in using the scriptures to draw our reference from for numbers.

Using these numbers while digging into the Word of God, will open the word up even more to you.

What is interesting is…109 has been a number that has followed me for years. Or 901 when I was having life issues. But once I moved, it reversed to 109 and things began to take on a healing process in my life. I began to become more happy. Twice 109 has come up moving. And so I look to this number at testimony in fruit of the spirit. Psalm 109? Romans 10:9? hmm

Again, I am NOT a follower of numberology or the use of using numbers to predict or to TRY to predict future events because in my book, nobody knows the TRUE future, except GOD. God CAN and HAS used people to show coming future events but those were past prophets.

The bible does teach us that in the end of days your children shall prophecy and men dream dreams. This means tell us the future through both.

As for numbers…I believe the number can have a light or dark reason or placement should I say. As I am not evil but Love God and yet my numbers have been 109. I recently contacted a ministry of which seems very strong in Christ and their address is 109. So, just because a 9 is IN or MIXED with another number doesn’t make anything evil or that something deadly is going to happen.

What I AM saying is…it is strange how MANY deaths in accidents on the news you will find seem to match up to 9 or 18 or 27 or 36 or a number when added = 9. Is this the work of the enemy and him leaving his mark? Who knows and maybe saying THAT is good for a frown or two. But you be the judge and watch. Just don’t ever use numbers to try to make forecasts. Lottery, predicting the future with numbers. Believe it or not. You are trying to make a future forecast using numbers when playing lottery and…it is also gambling of which, is a sin and our God says basically that…you’ll get addicted to or could as well, spend money you shouldn’t be spending. His rules are gambling is a sin. And is it no wonder they call Las Vegas the city of SIN?

So, next time you buy your lotto ticket, something to remember.

Biblical Numbers- do numbers really have a significance to God?

It seems quite obvious that the Bible uses numbers in patterns. Who can deny that 40 is significant. Jesus was in the desert for 40 days and the Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years. Whether or not the analysis of these number patterns are accurate is up for debate. But I present to you this information condensed from the book, Number in Scripture by Bullinger.
One of the interesting features of Hebrew and Greek is that in both written languages there are no numeric characters. Where we have numbers and letters, they have only letters. So, in each language, the letters are also used as numbers. In a small way we do the same thing in English. For example is “O” a zero or a letter of in the alphabet. Is “l” a one or a small L? When they are used, the context tells us which is which and we have no problem understanding it. The same goes for Hebrew and Greek. They knew when they were writing numbers and when they were writing letters.
But the interesting thing is that when a word is written, it also has a numeric equivalent. For example, the word “Jesus” in Greek is “iasous.” Since each letter has a numeric equivalent, we can add up each number and get a value. The value is the gammatria. Therefore, the gammatria of “Jesus” in Greek is 888 because i = 10 a = 8 s = 200 o = 70 u = 400 s = 200. There are many interesting ‘games’ that can be played with this feature of Greek and Hebrew and much of it is absurd. But, some of the numeric relationships are interesting.
Whether not the numbers really do have a significance is still debated in many circles. Nevertheless, I present the information for your examination.

1 THE NUMBER OF UNITY. Father. Deuteronomy 6:4 “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Ephesians 4:5 “one Lord, one faith, one baptism.”
2 THE NUMBER OF DIVISION. The Son who has two natures: human and divine. There are 2 Testaments: the Old and New. Man is Male and Female. Rom. 9 speaks of two vessels: one for honorable use and the other for dishonorable use. Two types of people: Sheep and Goats. There are two ages, this age and the age to come: Matt. 12:32; 13:39,40,49; Mark 10:30.
3 THE NUMBER OF DIVINE PERFECTION. The Trinity consists of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. There are three qualities of the universe: Time, Space, and Matter. To exist (except for God), all three are required. Each quality consists of three elements. Therefore, we live in a trinity of trinities.

4 THE NUMBER OF CREATION – North, South, East, West; 4 Seasons. The 4th commandment is the first that refers to the earth. The 4th clause of the Lord’s Prayer is the first that mentions the earth. The materials of the tabernacle were four and so were the coverings and the ornamentations.
5 THE NUMBER OF GRACE. Redemption. Israel came out of Egypt 5 in rank (Ex 13:18). David picked up 5 smooth stone to fight Goliath (1 Sam. 17:40). The Holy Anointing Oil was pure and composed of 5 parts (Ex. 30:23-25).
6 THE NUMBER OF MAN: Man was created on the 6th day. Man labors 6 days only. The Serpent was created on the 6th day. The 6th commandment is “Thou shalt not murder.” Six words are used for man: Adam, ish, Enosh, gehver, anthropos, anar. Also, 6 x 6 = 36. 36 + 35 + 34 + 33 + 32 . . . 5 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 666. 666 is the number of the antichrist. This means that the name of the antichrist in Greek adds up to 666. This is a mockery of the Trinity.
7 THE NUMBER OF SPIRITUAL PERFECTION. Seven days in a week. Seven colors in the spectrum. Seven of the 10 commandments begin with the word “not.” There are 7 seals, 7 trumpets, 7 parables in Matthew, and 7 promises to the churches. There are 7 “eternals” in Hebrews which are: A priest for ever (1:6); Eternal salvation (1:9); Eternal judgment (6:2); eternal redemption (9:12); eternal spirit (9:14); eternal inheritance (9:15); and everlasting covenant (13:20). Jesus said 7 things on the cross: 1) Luke 23:34 “Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots; 2) Luke 23:43 Jesus answered him, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise”; 3) Matthew 27:46 About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” — which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”; 4) John 19:26 “When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, “Dear woman, here is your son”; 5) John 19:28 “Later, knowing that all was now completed, and so that the Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” 6) John 19:30 “When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit”; and 7) Luke 23:46 “Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.” “Hallelujah” occurs 28 times or 4 x 7. “Hosanna” occurs 7 times. “Milk” occurs 49 times or 7 x 7. “Abaddon” occurs 7 times. “After the order of Melchizedek” occurs 7 times.
8 THE NUMBER OF NEW BEGINNINGS. 8 people on Noah’s Ark (2 Pet. 2:5); circumcision on 8th day (Gen. 17:12); God made 8 covenants with Abraham
9 THE NUMBER OF JUDGMENT. There are 9 greek words derived from the root word meaning judgment = dikay. The following words each occur 9 times in the Bible: abussos (bottomless pit); asebee (ungodly); aselgeia (lasciviousness); and astrapee (lightning). The gifts of the spirit are 9 in number (1 Cor. 12:8-10): the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, tongues, and interpretation of tongues.
10 THE NUMBER OF DIVINE PERFECTION. There are 10 commandments (Ex. 20); 1/10 of your income is a tithe; the were 10 plagues on Egypt (Ex. 9:14ff); 10 x 10 silver sockets formed the foundation of the Tabernacle (Ex 38:27); There are 10 “I AM’s spoken by Jesus in John: 1) I am the Bread of Life (6:35); 2) I am the Bread of Life which came down from heaven (6:41); 3) I am the Living Bread (6:51); 4) I am the Light of the world (8:12); 5) I am One that bears witness of Myself (8:18); 6) I am the Door of the sheep (10:7,9); 7) I am the Good Shepherd (10:14); 8) I am the Resurrection and the Life (14:6); 9) I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life (11:25); and 10) I am the True Vine (15:1,5).
12 THE NUMBER OF GOVERNMENTAL PERFECTION. There were 12 tribes of Israel; 12 Apostles, 12 foundations in the heavenly Jerusalem; 12 gates; 12 pearls; 12 angels. The measurements of New Jerusalem are 12,000 furlongs or stadia, while the wall will be 144 (12 x 12) cubits (Rev. 21:16-17).
40 THE NUMBER OF PROBATION OR TRIAL. The Israelites wandered for 40 years (Deut. 8:2-5). Moses was on the mount for 40 days (Exodus 24:18); 40 days of Jonah and Nineveh (Jonah 3:4). Jesus was tempted for 40 days (Matt. 4:2).
153 In John 21:11, after the resurrection the disciples caught 153 fish. The word fish in Greek is ‘ixthus’ which has a numerical equivalent of 1224, or 8 x 153. Remember, which is Jesus Christ is 888. 153 people received a blessing from Jesus in the four gospel (not counting the 5000 and examples like that).
